Rivers in the Desert
Do you hear it?
The susurrus of rising water in a
Dry land.
Do you feel it?
The rumble underfoot as
Old Wells
are opened.
Kneel:
He will reach our hands of prayer,
Lapping over cracked and brittle bones,
As soft and relieving as a sigh.
