River Song

Cool water rushing,
Feet finding secret places.

I am one with the running water;
Cicada song hums
Beneath summer-warmed flesh,
Primitive heartbeat.

I tread softly in the sacred
A feral child
With Creation-singing
Deep
In my bones.
